The service

FileMerlin provides file conversion tools that run inside your web browser. The service is free, requires no account, and is provided without any guarantee of availability. We may change, limit or discontinue any part of it at any time.

Your files and your responsibility

You keep all rights to the files you convert. We never receive them, so we claim nothing over them and take no responsibility for what they contain.

You are responsible for having the right to convert the files you use here, and for complying with the law where you are. Do not use this site for anything unlawful.

No warranty

The service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Results depend on your browser and your device, and we do not warrant that any conversion will be error free or that a result will meet your requirements.

Always keep your original files. A converted file is not a backup.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site, including lost data, lost profits or business interruption. Since the service is free and processes nothing on our servers, this limitation is a condition of providing it at all.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt the site, to overload the hosting that serves it, or to present it as your own service. Automated scraping of these pages is discouraged, and there is no public API.
