Privacy Policy

The short version

Your files are never uploaded. Conversion happens entirely inside your browser, on your own device. We never receive, store, process or log the contents of your files, their names, their dimensions, or any metadata inside them.

What we do not collect

We do not collect the files you convert or anything derived from them. We do not collect your name, email address or account information, because there are no accounts. We do not ask for or store payment details. We do not use cookies to identify or track you across sites, and we do not sell or share personal data, because we hold none.

What is processed automatically

Like any website, the server that delivers these pages processes technical request data such as your IP address, the page requested and your browser user agent. This is handled by our hosting provider, is used to serve the site and keep it secure, and is not linked to anything you convert, because what you convert never reaches any server.

We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics service, to count page views. It sets no cookies, does not fingerprint visitors, and cannot identify you or follow you to other sites. It records the address of the page, the site that referred you, and general details of your browser, screen size and country.

It never receives anything about the files you convert: not their contents, names, sizes or dimensions. That is structural rather than a promise, because the code that reports activity to it accepts only the name of an event and has no way to pass anything else.

Local storage on your device

The site stores one value in your browser local storage: whether you chose the light or the dark theme. It stays on your device, is never transmitted, and clearing your browser data removes it.

Advertising

This site currently shows no advertising. If advertising is introduced later, this policy will be updated first, any third-party advertising partners and their data practices will be named, and visitors in regions that require consent will be asked for it before such a partner loads. Advertising would never receive the contents of your files, which remain inaccessible to any third party by design.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
